The Dream

The Dream is to take The Library of Lost Books on tour around Great Britain. We could get local libraries involved with the project, perhaps donating some of their old books. We could get locally based artists involved, re-making the books or running workshops for people from the community, teaching book-making and printing skills.



We have been offered the chance to re-use one of the old bookshelves from Central Library, Birmingham. So we would like to commission a cabinet maker and artist to re-cycle the bookcase into a cabinet to house our beautiful artist's books.


Like The Library of Lost Books itself, we don't have any funds to do this - so we are relying on public support to get the project off the ground. We want to raise £2000 to get the cabinet made. Can you help? Become a member of The Library of Lost Books and support this project, we need you!
